K9 Rescue Knitting Club

As I type, the rain is lashing down outside my window.  A typical British mid-summer’s day!  Never mind, it give me a good excuse to pick up the knitting needles in between wet walks with the dogs.  We’ve had a good fundraising year so far - with the annual total standing at over £1700.  And with some stalls planned at various dog shows over the summer, this will keep growing.  We will be at the following events this year, if you fancy coming to say hello:

Dogs Trust, Sadberge, Darlington - Sunday 6th July
RSPCA, Gonsal Park, Shrewsbury - Sunday 27th July
Greyhound Gap, Walsall, West Midlands - Sunday 14th September

During 2008, we are supporting Dogs Trust and Ashbourne Animal Welfare.  100% of proceeds from the sale of coats from the website go to these two charities.  You can read more about the work of these two charities by clicking on the links on the menu to the left.
